Serenity now

I finally saw Serenity.



Yeah, I admit it; I'm a closet geek. Actually, most people probably know that I am a geek, so I guess I'm just a plain, old geek. Oh well. I loved it! Yes, it was somewhat corny, but that's the style. I think you have to have watched the series to be into it. I feel bad because I dragged my friend to go see it, and I'm sure he wasn't even half as excited as I was. My only complaint is that the film was too short. I thought it would wrap everything up that was left hanging with the cancellation of the series. I want more! Maybe they're leaving it open for a sequel =P



On a completely random note, I think I am spending too much time with Shannon.

First incident:
Shannon: Shoot! I forgot a jacket.
Me: Awww, are you gonna be cold?
Shannon (fluttering eyelashes): Will you hold me if I get cold?
Me: No.
Shannon: Why? You're so mean!
Me (semi-sarcastically): What? Would YOU hold ME if I got cold?
Shannon (leaning over to grab my arm): Yesh
Me (swerving a little in an attempt to avoid capture): AAACK!

Second incident:
Shannon: Jen is a little upset that G keeps calling her Jenn with two ns
Me: Yeah, I can see that.
Shannon: I actually thought that Jen with one n was the way you spelled Jen.
Me: Yeah, me too. It makes more sense. You know, you shorten it and it's Jen. Two ns is kind of weird. It would be like ...
(small pause)
Shannon and me simultaneously: Jen -enn -ennnnnnnnnnnnnn!
Me (horrified): Why are you so much like me??

I guess it's to be expected when you spend 9-10 hrs a day with someone.
