Eventful weekend

On Saturday, I was bored so I went to the Fillmore to get me some Coffee Bean. I miss having Coffee Beans everywhere. Why is there only one location in the whole bay area?!??!? So annoying. Well, Coffee Bean was a bit disappointing because I decided to be adventurous and try a Belgian chocolate ice blended instead of sticking to a tried-and-true mocha, vanilla, or green tea. Needless to say (but of course I will say it anyway =P) the Belgian chocolate was not so good. On the upside though, the guy gave it to me for free--something about the paper pink cards from LA being obsolete up here. After Coffee Bean, I decided to wander. It's fun to explore new places, and I never really wallked along Fillmore; I always just went for my ice blendeds.

Wandering turned out to be way fun. I went into Benefit and Shu Uemura and checked out a random bookstore and boutique. At Shu Uemura, I saw Charm and all her girl friends (plus two poor boyfriends, Adrian and Ulysses. Those guys are good sports). It was Jen's birthday, so they were getting their lashes done at the Tokyo lash bar. I must say, it looked fun and the lashes looked fabulous, but I don't think I could pull that off. So I hung out with them for a while and spent way too much money on products. I couldn't help it! The makeup artist said he thought my freckles were beautiful. How can you not buy things from someone who compliments something you think is one of your worst flaws? And he was gay too, so there was no weird ulterior motives (other than of course pushing his products =P). Must remember to have more self-control next time.

Saturday night was quite interesting. Hooked up with Mollie, an old friend from high school who happened to see me online (Thank you, AIM) and wanted to hang out. We ended up going to North Beach for dinner, and then after that, we went to Kells, an Irish pub on Jackson. That was quite fun. I drank way too much, but was it was sooooo worth it. Rocking out to '"I Love Rock 'n' Roll" without a care in the world was definitely something that could not be accomplished without at least a smidge of alcohol. Mollie was probably not half as bad as I was, but she was quite patient, which was great. I tried to repay her by drunkenly grabbing her hand and this poor, unsuspecting Irish guy's hand and telling them that they should dance. The Irish guy was very cute and seemed nice. His name was Eugene, and he was an engineer. He got Mollie's number, and I hope he calls her.

Two bad things about the night : 1) I think I drunk dialed a bunch of people at like 1 AM. If you were one of them, I apologize; 2) Some f*cker (excuse my language) licked my face or gave me an extremely wet kiss. Three times. While I was seemingly unconscious on the couch. Can you believe that?? What is wrong with people? Good thing I wasn't actually passed out; I was just tired and wanted to rest. But then again, at least if I had been unconscious, I would not have the horrific experience ingrained in my memory. Sheesh! My only consolation is that I was pretty sweaty from dancing and I was wearing makeup.

I hope you got a mouthful of Shu Uemura Velvet Perfect Adjusting Powdery foundation, asshole.
